Robert Walters - Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur - Your key purpose in this new role will be to assess and ensure listed companies’ corporate disclosure adequacy, including: take lead position in ensuring timely detection and corporate governance compliance involving listed issuers to make sure investor protection is sustained take active role in the development and implementation of the Corporate Surveillance Framework, both from a medium and long term perspective, alongside review and benchmark of regulatory trends and accounting standards as in line with international best practices ensure effective communications are maintained by managing relationship with listed issuers and intermediaries provide advise on the sustainability of watch-list companies’ corporate proposals and additional listing applications to ensure high standard and quality of business and minimize market manipulation As you will be client facing you must possess outstanding communication skills.
